I find patterns in the chaos. I look for microcosms, long-term trends, ripples and waves. I like to think abstractly while designing simple, concrete solutions - solutions that work today while allowing for long-term extensibility and scale. I am interested in the lyrical and the practical. The aesthetic and the technical. The form and the function. I prefer flow over stocks, liberal over conservative, open over closed.
Hello, I’m Shekhar. A 24 year old Internet Entrepreneur, Hardcore Techie, Photographer & Blogger from Bangalore. Natively from Bilaspur, a small but coming-up town in central part of country.
I am co-founder, Chief of Technology & Design at RxHCM & HealthcareMagic.com. Previously, I worked in a software company as a Software Developer & UI/UX Lead for 1.5 years which got acquired last year. Also, during college, as a student I founded ShekSPHER Design Studio, which used to be my own design/development studio, where I started-off as a freelance.
ShekLOG is my personal blog, A place where I write about Technology, Entrepreneurship, Start-up Life, Design, UI/UX, Web 2.0, Photography and sometimes about me & randomly the world around me. In short, A place where I convert my thoughts into action.
Interesting things of note might be that I love technology & web & have done so for many years…Also, I’m a gigantic photography fan, and an in-process photographer. I have been running this blog for a couple of months now, and I feel strongly about it. Before starting this site, I have also run or helped run a good deal of other concepts & put them online.
On the personal side… I’m a true Leo, I would best describe myself as logical & analytical, comfortable dealing with all things rational. I have a quest for knowledge and like to know everything about almost anything. I read a lot and try to pick up tidbits of information from virtually almost anywhere and add them to the ever-growing repository of my brain, which seems to be bursting at the seams due to the information overload inflicted on it.
I’m basically a thoughtful, simple guy, but have some really radical ideas. As a born freedom zealot, freedom is something I value the most in life. I hate all kinds of clichés, and can be best described as an atheist, a libertarian and an individualist, a free market fundamentalist and of course, I’m manifestly a geek of a very high order.
Now that the good stuff has been said, as a disclaimer, let me also add that some of my actions make me come across as mildly antisocial at times. But don’t let that bother you - it usually passes.
